Festival Dancing at Capital City Raqs
We are so excited for you to perform at Capital City Raqs! Our spacious event space features a large raised stage with a beautiful backdrop of the Sacramento skyline, as well as a large changing and storage area and plenty of parking and on-site food and drink. Performers enjoy free festival attendance on the day of their performance. Performers will be announced by 1/1/25. Fill out the Google Form below and send payment to reserve your spot. Performance spot priority goes first to Bundle holders and workshop attendees, then dance spots are assigned on a first come/first serve basis. We will have so much fun!
Performer Registration
$10.00
$10/per performer. Troupes make a $10 deposit and pay the balance by 2/1/2025. Fill out the GOOGLE FORM and send payment to reserve your spot. Please specify live or recorded music. Live music spots are not guaranteed. Performance spot priority goes first to Bundle holders and workshop attendees, then dance spots are assigned on a first come/first serve basis. Performers will be announced by 1/1/25. Email a photo, bio and your music to capitalcityraqs@gmail.com NO LATER then 1/15/25. Set length is 6 minutes for solos and 7 minutes for troupes, and must be mp3 format only, all one track, and labeled PerformerName_Songtitle (i.e. MychelleCrown_EntaOmri)
Performers enjoy free festival attendance on the day of their performance. Showcase tickets and workshops sold separately. Bundle holders receive their choice of workshops, free entry to both festival days, a Benefit Showcase Ticket, 2 raffle tickets, and a guaranteed festival performance spot to your choice of live or recorded music!
Capital City Raqs will take place at the Carmichael Elks Lodge at 5631 Cypress Ave, Carmichael, CA 95608. The event space features a large raised stage as well as a large changing and storage area. Stage dimensions are 16 deep x 24 wide during recorded music, 12x24 during live music sections.
